Anurag Duggal, M.D.

Dr. Duggal, currently providing consultation in Infectious Diseases (ID) at Texas Health Plano, also serves as the Chair of the Department of Internal Medicine (IM). He holds the position of Core Faculty in the Texas Health Plano IM Residency Program. Dr. Duggal offers consultation services at Texas Health Frisco and other hospitals in Plano, McKinney, and Allen, as well as seeing outpatients in his private practice.
After completing his medical school training in India, Dr. Duggal pursued an Internal Medicine Residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General in Akron, Ohio. He then completed an Infectious Diseases fellowship at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Since 2009, he has been practicing clinical ID in multiple hospitals in northeast Ohio, serving as a clinician, educator, and holding administrative positions before relocating to the Dallas-Fort Worth area in 2019.
Dr. Duggal has a special interest in bone and joint infections. He enjoys teaching residents and medical students in clinical settings and is passionate about patient care, embodying the motto “Patients First!” He has been recognized as one of the Best Doctors of Collin County and Dallas County by D Magazine numerous times.
Dr. Duggal resides in the Frisco area and is a diehard Cleveland sports fan, supporting his teams, including the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes, with unwavering loyalty. He fervently hopes to witness the Cleveland Browns win the Super Bowl during his lifetime. In his free time, he engages in various sports, including football, basketball, tennis, and table tennis. He also enjoys listening to music.
