Muhammad Aijaz Khurshid, MD

Dr. M. Aijaz Khurshid is an experienced Infectious Disease Physician, treating patients with various infections for 23 years. 

Dr. Khurshid earned Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Jinnah Sindh Medical University in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed Internal Medicine residency from Saint Joseph Hospital, Chicago, Illinois, Infectious Disease Fellowship from Loyola University, Chicago, IL and Geriatrics fellowship from Saint Louis University, St. Louis, MO. 

He is Board certified in Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine and is currently licensed in States of Texas, Tennessee and Mississippi.

Dr. Khurshid served as Medical Director in Dept. of Corrections, WA state and served as Member of Governor’s Advisory Council for HIV/ AIDS in Washington State. Later he practiced as Infectious Disease consultant in Memphis, TN before moving to Frisco, TX, where he lives with his Wife and three Children.

Currently he is providing ID consult services in North Dallas including Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen and Dallas. He is affiliated with Medical City Plano, Medical City Dallas, Medical City Frisco, Medical City McKinney, Methodist Richardson, Baylor, Scott & White Medical Center, McKinney and Frisco, and Carrara Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility in Plano, TX.

Dr. Khurshid’s expertise includes treating Bacterial, Viral and Fungal Infections in hospital and outpatient setting including Sepsis, Bone & Joint Infections, Cardiovascular infections, Long term IV antibiotics and HIV.
