Dr. Malavade completed his internal medicine training from Brandon Regional Hospital in Brandon Florida followed by fellowship training in infectious diseases at University Hospitals Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He then practised in infectious diseases in Huntsville, Alabama for 3 years before moving to Dallas/Fort Worth.
